Greyhound Dog Racing Laying Tips Daily Selections Service

Daily Greyhound Tips Service

Introduction To Laying Greyhound Dogs For Profit

The whole idea behind greyhound laying is that you simply back the dogs to lose - not to win. If you have ever tried winning on the dogs you will know it isn't that easy. However when it comes to back the dogs to lose, there is a much better betting proposition. There are always six dogs in every race, unless there are withdrawls, which can sometimes happen. However there are often dogs in many races which can be picked out to lose. This is partly because of the way dog races work. If a dog wins a race then it is usually raised in class for its next race. This means that losing dogs are competing with dogs raised from a lower class, many of whom will go on to win again. So some losing dogs carry on losing - which is a good bet for us to "lay" the dog in question

First To The Bend

It is often important for dogs to get to the first bend in the top three. If a dog is left behind at the first bend, then it is asking alot for the dog to make up the ground. As a result if a dog was nowhere at the first bend, and also lost the race altogether, then, in the right circumstances, this dog will find it hard to compete in subsequent races. So again this is an ideal dog for us to back to lose and lay with the bookie

Here's What You Get With The Service

For an extremely low price that anyone can afford, I provide you with my top greyhound selections to lay every day - 7 days a week. You can then go over to Betfair or any similar betting exchange, and lay which ever dogs you want. There are usually several selections per day, and this should make it easy for you to back the right dogs that will lose

You will notice that my prices for the Greyhound Dog Laying Service are the same as for my Horse Racing Service. However don't get confused! The services are totally different - I just keep to the same low prices, so that everyone can get in on the information

Risks Involved In Laying

There are significant risks involved in any kind of betting. However with laying you do need to be aware that should any of your selections actually win, then you will lose not only your stake, but also the win part of the bet as well. For an example, if you were back a dog to lose, which was quoted at 6/1 at SP, then you would lose not only your £1 stake put also the win part of £6, making a total of £7 all together. This is an extreme example, as it is fairly rare in greyhound racing that a dog wins at such a long price. Generally most dogs win at around EVE to 7/2. There are not many wins beyond this kind of price. However with laying - i.e. backing the dog to lose - you should normally get the result correct many more times e.g. 90% strike rate is quite normal

My Specialised Greyhound Service

I have developed my own Greyhound Laying System that generally produces several selections each day. The main idea behind these selections is to find greyhounds which have very little chance of winning based on previous form. I also give you my "Lay Of The Day" which is a dog in one of the morning bags meetings, "The Alpha Selection" which is the first selection when listing all meetings in alphabetical order, and "Hot Traps for Losers" which is when Trap 2 is selected by the system and the is only one qualifier. All sets of tips are provided for the all subscribers to the service. The selections cover all greyhound meetings that are listed in the Racing Post - this is often at least 5 meetings, spread over morning 11am meetings, the afternoon meetings, which usually start at 2pm and evening meetings which go on to 10pm. So as you can see there is a good selection of dogs right the way through the day, with an even bigger number of selections at the weekends, however this can vary depending on the data available

Hot Traps For Losers

I particularly reccommend the "Hot Traps For Losers" - this system came about as I did some research on several thousand results. As I ran various system runs on the data, I discovered that trap 2 was giving me a very low strike rate of losers. Of course I realized immediately that this system would mean that it was virtually impossible to lose by laying dogs. This was because the strike rate of losers was so low at only 5%. The simple maths are that out of 100 selections there would only be 5 winners. So the losers would return us £95 plus obviously our stakes returned, which gives us a total of £190. On the 5 winners, it does depend on the odds, but suppose the odds were 7.0 against us, then we would lose £35 on those selections plus the stakes, so £40 alltogether. So the overall profit is £55 at £1 stakes - or 55% pure profit returned. Where else could you find a more powerful system than this? truly awesome. So I do reccommend that do you don't miss out on this money making opportunity, with laying greyhounds

The best way to make the maximimum amount of money from Greyhound Laying is to lay the first selection of the day, where my outsider selection produces only one selection. Once this dog has "lost" and you have pocketed your winnings, then you should quit for the day. The more dogs you lay, the quicker you will come across a winner, and that could ruin your whole laying strategy. If you follow this simple laying procedure, of lay one, then quit, the best returns will be obtained day after day, week after week. Some people do lay dog after dog through the day, but I personally would not reccommend this strategy, as sooner or later you will come accross a winner. Better to avoid the winners all together on the morning bags meetings. There is no need to be greedy: one good lay each day can put your laying returns on the right tracks. It's also worth bearing in mind that the morning bags meetings are far less competitive than the evening meetings. As a result the results are more predictable

Finally do remember that nothing is certain in any kind of betting, and literally anything can happen. So yes, you could have a bad day once in a while - thats the nature of the sport. Murray Walker once famously said - "Anything can happen in Formula 1, and it usually does" - not bad advice! Betting is all about analysing your risks, and stacking the odds in your favour wherever possible - let the mugs back in every race, while you get in quick make your return, and then get out just as quick - keep your head (and your wallet!) while everyone else is loosing theres! Do remember that nothing is certain is racing and selections and results can be variable. All our selections are subject to our Standard Terms Of Service which is available on the Standard Disclaimer page, and remember that nothing is ever certain in racing, any dog can win, so do not be decieved that profits are easily made

Recent Results

Here I give you a listing of my recent Greyhound Dog Laying Selections. For those of you who are new to "laying" as a method of betting, all that is required is to back the selections to lose! It might seem a bit odd, but laying means we are betting that the dog in question will lose. My selections give a good success rate - meaning most of the dogs I select to lay actually lose, which means every bet gives us a payout. Overall you should expect around a 90% success rate with laying. However if you follow my advice and "lay 1 and quit", you should be able to walk away with your winnings intact. If you go to a company like BetFair, then you can bet any Greyhound to lose - this is what I recommend with my selections. However as with any form of betting, do please remember that there is always a risk involved, so you should always be prepared to lose a bet. If you are a bit cautious then I would suggest you just lay the first selection of the day, pocket your winnings, and leave it at that. The same kind of strategy could be used if you are at work and cannot lay every race

Listed below are some recent results. Please note I only have time to update these results occassionally due to the time involved. Obviously there are lots of Greyhound meetings daily and therefore lots of results. Note: these are my TOP Selections i.e. when only ONE dog is predicted to lose by the outsider system. When you subscribe I actually send you dogs to lay from my three top systems - the "Outsiders" system, the "Lay Of The Day" system and "Hot Traps For Losers" sytem. Both these systems throw up amazing numbers of dogs that lose time and time again. However, as with anything in life, the system is not fool proof and selectons will vary, therefore you should always finanlise your own selections. In addition don't forget I provide you with my "Lay Of The Day" which is ONE dog to lay per day - generally in the morning bags meetings. I have also found that the first selection of the daily listings, by meeting, when listed alphabetically virtually never comes up with a winner, so this is obviously a good dog to lay. In addition I would make it a real MUST to lay the "Hot Traps For Losers" as this gives us a huge overall profit, and is virtually certain for you make money from laying greyhounds. I will also enter more results as time allows. Thanks

Hot Traps For Losers

Here are the results from my "Hot Traps For Losers" which is the selections when they are from Trap2. These dogs only manage to win only 5% or less of the time. You will notice that some courses these dogs NEVER win! As an extra, Trap 2 in races from 10.00am to 13.59pm have an even better strike rate, with currently over 30 consecutive losers, so this is something to watch out for, and maybe increase your stakes for these selections - look for the * next to the result to see these selection only. My own preference is to lay these dogs only, i.e. simply sit wait for these gold edged lays to come along, and pocket the 100% winnings

The Lay Of The Day

Here are the results from my "The Lay Of The Day" which is one dog per day predicted to lose around 90% of the time. It should also be remembered that any dog predicted to lose, running before 14.00 which is 5.0 or less on Betfair is an outstanding lay, although it is of course a good lay whatever the price since if we know the dog will lose we will pick up the backers stake. As part of the Greyhound Laying Service, I also list out all dogs running before 14.00 to make life easier for you
